Bill Heimelberger, incoming Romeo Rotary Club president, presents a check from the club to former Macomb Literacy Partners Director.Jessica Cheshire, The Romeo Rotary Club recently indulged its charitable side within the club on April 18 donated $250 to Macomb Literacy Partners. With the donation, Macomb County Rotary Clubs have donated a total of $1000 to MLP this year.

Macomb Literacy is a 501(c)(3) community based "not for profit" volunteer literacy organization housed at the Macomb County Library. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

All contributions help with the following:
Reading assessment and intake evaluation for an adult new reader
Training and materials for a community volunteer
Educational plan, books and materials.
Ongoing evaluation and support services
Referral to ‘next step’ educational program and/or job training
READ TO ME - Outreach to Parents of young children

 $100 – Sustaining Partner
 $250 or more – Project 250

Each $250 donation provides annual support for a single student-tutor pair.
