Friends of Macomb Literacy Partners are committed to the mission of Macomb Literacy Partners, to improve the quality of life for our community by working to eliminate adult illiteracy and through the development of programs that promote the advancement of literacy.

Functions include:
I. Mission statement and program objectives " Learn and be committed to the organization's mission, goals and objectives.

II. Participation " Attend monthly Friends of MLP Meetings " Serve as needed on sub-committees

III. Financial Functions " Support fund-raising and resource development through attendance at fund-raising events. " Make at least one tax-deductible annual contribution

IV. Community relations " Promote Macomb Literacy Partners to the community at large " Assist with the recruitment and mentoring of new Friends as needed.

Qualifications:
Brings unique skills and attributes and is willing to "make things happen" for the organization.
